Just for the record, it is important to state that I dropped Latin in grade x and then failed French in grade xi. So I had the pleasure of spending one extra year at VRCI in order to have the requirements to apply to University. I learned to type, learned to speak French, to love English literature, and to appear in one more Gilbert and Sullivan operetta. What more could one ask?

What a great experience Vaughan was! It was where and when my life took off. I am truly indebted to the Waugh sisters for my love of reading, to Mr Bowley for the fun of Gilbert and Sullivan, and to the french teacher who flunked me and thus gave me a chance to learn to type! (and an extra year with Mr Bowley, English Literature and other such joys).
