Comment: Worked at the TTC Head Office (35 Yonge St.) 1948-1956 as tabulating machine operator. In 1956 joined Household Finance Corporation (HFC) (85 Bloor St. E.) as Tabulating Supervisor. In 1959 married Freda Graham (York memorial). We have been married 57 years. We have three children and six grandchildren. In 1965 I was transferred by HFC to their Chicago Home Office to work on a state of the art computer system. I held various jobs there--Senior Systems Analyst, Budget Manager, etc. and retired in 1992 as Director-Strategic Planning. In 1996 I had a serious accident--fell from a ladder and received a spinal cord injury resulting in paraplegia. Life in a wheelchair is different, but life is still good. We still live in the Chicago area, as do two of our children and all the grandkids. Our oldest son and his wife live in Minnesota. Before my injury we enjoyed some traveling. We don't travel much anymore but are fortunate to have a home in Florida where we spend about half the year. The only names I recognize of those planning to attend the reunion in 2017 are Gene Miller (I assume this is "Hindu" that I used to hang around with and attend jazz concerts with), Dunc Ellis, and Gwen Mueller. I have stayed in contact with two HS friends--Gord Miller (retired from Canadian Navy and lives in Halifax), and Jim Belford who reired in Burlington.
